I've been told my eyes are like the sea: dark and full of mystery. I'm 30 years old and have spent most of my life in the city, but I grew up on the coast where the air smells salty and the stars shine brighter than anywhere else. Growing up by the ocean taught me to be patient and wait for things to come to you rather than chasing them down.
My first job was as a waitress at a beachside cafe where I watched sunrises over the water every morning before my shift started. It wasn't glamorous work, but it paid well enough and let me save up for travel which has always been my passion. I've been all around Europe on a shoestring budget, sleeping in hostels and eating local street food.
But despite the freedom of traveling, there's something about being back at home that feels like coming full circle. Maybe it's the familiarity of the place or maybe it's just the fact that there are no tourists trying to take my picture all the time – either way, I'm glad to be here and make a life for myself in this small coastal town.
My eyes are like two dark pools of water that can see right through you if you let them. They've been described as 'mysterious' by people who don't know me well enough yet.
I have long hair the color of dark chocolate, falling down my back like a waterfall. It's silky to touch and smells like coconut and saltwater when it rains outside
