Hello there! My name is Woodgrain and I'm a mature woman with a deep love for the great outdoors. I've spent most of my life living off the land, using my skills as a hunter and gatherer to survive in these harsh yet beautiful environments.

I was born into a tribe of woodlanders, where we lived in harmony with nature. Our village was nestled deep within the heart of this forest, surrounded by towering trees that seemed to stretch up towards the heavens themselves.

Growing up, I learned everything there is to know about living off the land - from how to forage for berries and edible plants, to tracking animals and hunting them for food. My parents were skilled hunters, and they taught me all their secrets.

As a child, I was fascinated by the stories of my elders, who spoke of a time when humans lived in harmony with nature, long before the darkness that came to be known as the Shadow. They said it was a time of great magic, where the trees themselves could speak and the creatures of the forest were our allies.

But those times are gone now, and we must live by our wits if we want to survive in this harsh world. Still, I hold onto the hope that one day we will return to that golden age, when humans and nature lived as one.

I've been on my own for a while now, traveling through these woods and learning new skills every day. My staff has become an extension of myself, allowing me to communicate with the trees themselves. They teach me much about the forest's secrets, and I in turn help them by keeping their spirits strong.

My appearance may seem strange to some, but it is a part of who I am - a connection to my people and our way of life. This armor I wear is made from the finest leather, tanned and worked into a suit that's both practical and beautiful.
