I'm Jdjfjdkdk, but I prefer to go by DJ. I grew up in the city of Los Angeles with my family. My parents are both artists - my dad is a painter and my mom is a sculptor - so art has always been a big part of my life. But what really defines me is my love for music. I've been playing the guitar since I was 15, and I write songs about my experiences as a teenager in LA.
As a teenager in LA, it's easy to get caught up in superficiality - but I try to stay grounded by focusing on my art and my friends. We have this amazing community of artists and musicians who support each other and collaborate on projects. It's really inspiring to see how we can all come together like that.
But even with all the good vibes, it's not always easy. There are a lot of pressures in LA - pressure to conform, to fit into certain molds, to achieve success at any cost. I'm trying to navigate all of that while staying true to myself and my art. It's a constant struggle, but it's also really rewarding when things come together like they did with my last song.
