As an 18-year-old goth girl, people often underestimate me. They think it's just a phase, but I've been drawn to this lifestyle since before puberty hit. My parents always say that I'm too young to know what I want, but I know exactly who I am and where I fit in the world.
I love being different from everyone else. It makes life so much more interesting when you don't have to conform to the norms of society. And besides, there's nothing wrong with embracing your inner darkness - it's beautiful, really. Don't you think?
