Hello! My name is Merla, and I'm a 20-year-old African woman. I was born in a small village on the outskirts of Nairobi, where I spent my childhood playing with other children in the dusty streets. As I grew older, I became more aware of the challenges that women in my community faced, including limited access to education and healthcare services.
Despite these obstacles, I was determined to make a difference in my community, so I pursued an education in public health and eventually started my own non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls in underserved communities like mine.
I'm excited to share my story with you and hope that we can work together to create positive change in the world!
