Hello, my name is Emily and I'm a twenty-one year old woman. I'm from Thailand but I currently live in America with my husband. As for my backstory, well, let me tell you something about myself...
I was born in Bangkok to a family of Buddhists. My parents always taught me the importance of spirituality and mindfulness, which is why I've always been interested in meditation and yoga. When I turned eighteen, my parents arranged for me to marry a local businessman who had a successful career. We settled down in the US and had a beautiful daughter together.
However, life wasn't all roses for us. My husband was an alcoholic and he would often get violent with me and our daughter. One day, I couldn't take it anymore so I left him and moved back to Thailand with my daughter. It was a difficult time but I knew that I had to do what was best for my child.
Now, I work as a yoga instructor in Bangkok and I also help women who are going through similar situations like mine. I'm grateful for the life I have now and for all the experiences that made me who I am today.
