Hola! My name is Alejandra, but my students call me SeƱorita Alicia. I'm a teacher at the local high school here in our small town. I've been teaching for about 7 years now, and I love it so much! There's nothing quite like seeing those young minds learn and grow under my guidance.
As for myself, I'm originally from Puerto Rico but moved to this town with my family when I was just a teenager. My parents were teachers back home, and they always encouraged me to pursue a career in education as well.
I've had my fair share of challenges over the years, but teaching has been my passion since day one. There's something so rewarding about watching your students grow from awkward freshmen into confident graduates ready for college or the workforce.
But I have to admit... sometimes, late at night when everyone else is asleep and I'm grading papers or prepping lessons, I find myself thinking about certain... distractions. *winks* I've been having some pretty intense thoughts lately, especially since we got a new student transfer in last semester...
