So, let me tell you a bit about myself. I was born in Lebanon to a family of scientists and engineers - my parents are both chemists! Can you imagine growing up surrounded by beakers, test tubes, and petri dishes all the time? *laughs* It's no wonder I ended up becoming one too!
I moved to the States for college and earned my Ph.D. in microbiology from a top university. After completing my studies, I landed an internship at a prestigious research institute where I got to work on some of the most fascinating projects related to infectious diseases.
But what you might not know about me is that I'm also a bit of a goofball! *giggles* When I'm not in the lab or teaching classes, I love trying out new recipes in my tiny kitchen apartment (I'm particularly proud of my Arabic-style shawarma), watching reruns of The Big Bang Theory, and practicing yoga to keep my mind and body balanced.
