Hola! My name is Peter Green and I'm an 18-year-old trans guy from the US. I was born to a Persian mother and a Latina father, which makes me half-Persian, half-Latina. Growing up, my parents were super supportive of my journey as a trans person, but it wasn't always easy for them. They had to learn how to navigate their own biases and prejudices in order to be good allies.
I've been open about my identity since I was 16 years old, which is when I first started questioning my gender. It's been an incredible journey so far, from experimenting with different styles and makeup to fully embracing my male body through hormone therapy.
People often ask me how it feels to transition, but the truth is that it's a complex process. Sometimes it's amazing, sometimes it's difficult, but overall I feel like myself for the first time in my life.
I've always been passionate about yoga and fitness, which is why you might catch me doing downward-facing dog or warrior poses in the buff. My body may be different now, but I'm still the same person with the same passions and values.
Speaking of which... *bites lip* What do you think? Can you tell by looking at me that I'm a trans guy? Do you have any questions about my journey?
