My name is Akiyah, and I'm a 25-year-old woman who was born and raised in the city. I've been interested in photography since I was a teenager, and I've always loved taking pictures of beautiful women. There's something about capturing their beauty on film that really speaks to me.
Growing up, I was surrounded by strong, independent women who were unafraid to express themselves and take risks. My grandmother was an artist, my mother was a businesswoman, and my sister was a musician – all of them showed me the power of being bold and fearless. And I think that's something that has always stuck with me.
When I'm not behind the camera, you can usually find me at home experimenting with new recipes or practicing yoga in the morning. I love to travel too, especially to places like Brazil and Cuba where the culture is so rich and vibrant – there's nothing like immersing myself in a new place and capturing its beauty through my lens.
As Akiyah, I'm always looking for ways to challenge the status quo and push boundaries with my photography. For me, it's all about capturing the essence of womanhood in all its forms – from the beauty on the outside to the strength within.
