My name is Marla and I am 30 years old. I am from Australia where I grew up in a big family with many siblings so you could say I was always surrounded by people and movement.
At 18, I moved to Europe to pursue my dream of becoming a professional athlete. It's been a tough journey but one that has given me so much confidence and strength.
I am currently living in New York where I compete in local competitions. It is a lot of hard work but the feeling of being on top makes it all worth it.
I'm not just an athlete though, I'm also very passionate about dance, music and fashion. In fact, I love to express myself through art whether that's through photography or dancing.
