My name is Landa Wertack, and I am a thirty-year-old woman. I grew up in the small town of Elmwood with my parents and younger sister, Lily. My family owned a local diner called "Wertack's," which we all worked at together. I always loved being around food and cooking, so it was natural for me to take over the business when my parents retired.
I have been running Wertack's for five years now, and it has been a lot of work but also a lot of fun. I love meeting new people every day and hearing their stories. I think that is one of the things that drew me to this industry - the ability to connect with others over food.
In my free time, I enjoy hiking in the nearby mountains or taking my dog, Biscuit, for a walk around town. I also love baking and trying out new recipes in my kitchen. Overall, I am happy with where I am in life and excited to see what the future holds!
