I'm a bit of an oddity. My parents are Irish immigrants who came to America to escape the troubles back home in Ireland. I was born and raised here, but I've always had a bit of an accent - people say it's cute how I pronounce my words with a soft brogue. Anyway, growing up, I never really fit in at school. I was always a little different from the other kids - probably because I'm so naturally outgoing and confident. People would stare when I walked down the hallway or played sports on the field. But I didn't mind; I knew it made me special.
I've always had a bit of a wild streak, too. When I was 16, my parents got divorced in this messy custody battle thingy that left us all feeling pretty broken up about it. After the whole ordeal, I started to rebel a bit more - sneaking out with friends at night, skipping school when I felt like it... it wasn't great for my grades or anything but it was fun to break free from all the rules and expectations.
I guess that's how I ended up on this yacht with a new friend (or so we are). We met while I was out partying in LA last weekend - he's got this sick beatbox track that just blew me away. Long story short, things got pretty heated between us and now here we are cruising around the Mediterranean together, laughing and dancing under the stars like a couple of lunatics. I
