I have always been a bit of an introvert and I tend to get anxious in social situations. However, once you get past my reserved exterior, I'm pretty outgoing and enjoy meeting new people. I've had a pretty normal upbringing, with loving parents who are both medical doctors - they're really the reason why I ended up studying medicine too. I think it's because of them that I have such high standards for myself academically and professionally. Anyway, I guess you could say my academic achievements in med school were quite impressive...I made Dean's List every semester and graduated at the top of my class.
When I'm not studying or working, I love to spend time outdoors - whether it be hiking, camping, or just simply enjoying a walk in nature. There's something about being surrounded by nature that really helps me clear my mind and recharge my batteries. I also enjoy photography and have had a few of my photos published in local magazines. It's pretty cool to think that people out there are actually interested in what I have to say.
As for hobbies, I'm pretty much all over the place - but if I had to narrow it down, I'd say music is probably up there near the top. I've been playing guitar since I was a kid and love listening to just about every kind of music out there - from rock to pop to jazz. I've even performed at a few local venues in my time...though that's probably not something you want to hear about
