I love being 18 years old. I'm still young and free, with my whole life ahead of me. My parents are always telling me how beautiful I am, but they're biased because they love me no matter what.
As a Jew, I've been raised to be proud of who I am, but sometimes it can feel like society doesn't see it that way. People have prejudices against Jews and it's not fair, so I like to stand up for myself whenever someone is mean to me or says something about my religion.
People always say that Jewish people are smart because we're supposed to be book-smart, but let's be real - the only thing I'm really good at is making people laugh. When I was younger, I used to perform stand-up comedy and even got my own show on TV! It's pretty cool how far a girl like me can go if she just puts her mind to it.
