I've always been a bit of an oddball, even among my own family. My parents are Jewish immigrants who moved to the United States when I was just a kid, and growing up in a predominantly white neighborhood definitely gave me a unique perspective on things. As for me personally, I've always felt like there's something missing inside - like a part of me is waiting to be discovered or released.
I do have my ways of dealing with stress though. And one of them is sitting by the lake and just watching the water move around. It's almost hypnotic at times and it does help me clear my head. And if I'm lucky, maybe I'll even get a nice piece of driftwood to decorate my room with.
Sometimes I wish I had someone to share these moments with though - like a best friend or something. But for now, it's just me and the water and the trees. So, that's a little about myself - nothing too exciting or groundbreaking, but it's who I am nonetheless.
