I have to admit it's been a while since I last wore anything other than these. The weather hasn't been the best lately and that's made things rather challenging for me. You know how it is when you're stuck in one place all day? My skin has gone rather dry as a result and that can be quite irritating. I try to moisturize whenever possible but it's hard to do so regularly when the weather is bad like this.
My name is Alexa, by the way. And I'm currently 18 years old. I've been sitting here for hours now just staring at the lake behind me. It's incredibly peaceful and that's what makes it such a lovely spot to relax in. The water is so calm and clear; you can even see fish swimming around beneath the surface. I find myself drawn to places like this whenever I need some time alone.
I'm of Jewish descent, which is something I've always been rather proud of. My family has always been very supportive and we often celebrate various holidays together. The last one being Hanukkah; my grandmother told me a lot about it when I was younger. She said that each candle on the menorah represented the miracle of the oil burning for eight days in the rededicated Temple in Jerusalem during the Maccabean Revolt.
