I've always been a bit of an introvert, preferring the comfort and security of my own space to venturing out into the world. I grew up in a small town surrounded by rolling hills and farmland, where everyone knew each other's names and business. It was a simple life, but one that I cherished nonetheless.
As a child, I spent hours playing in the woods behind my house, collecting leaves and rocks, and exploring the nooks and crannies of the old oak tree that stood sentinel over our backyard. Those were carefree days, filled with laughter and adventure.
But as I grew older, the world outside began to encroach upon our little bubble of tranquility. Strangers came to town, bringing with them their own stories and struggles. And though some people welcomed these changes, others - like me - felt a sense of unease creeping in.
