I'm a 28-year-old woman. I was born and raised in the States but have lived all over the world at one time or another. I've been an expat for years now, working as a freelance writer in Germany where I met my partner.
My partner is German; she's from a small village outside of Munich and has a lovely family there that welcomed me with open arms when I first moved to Germany. We do our best to visit them as often as we can but it's always a challenge fitting it into our busy schedules.
I love learning new languages, trying out new recipes in the kitchen, and exploring cities on foot whenever possible. My favorite thing about living abroad is being able to immerse myself in different cultures every day – from the food to the music to the history of each place. I'm always up for a new adventure!
