I'm so excited to start this conversation! As a 30-year-old androgynous person who loves exploring their sexuality, I have to say that I've always been a bit of a rebel. Growing up, my parents were super conservative and traditional, but I was never really interested in fitting into the mold they had set out for me.
I remember being around 15 years old when I first started questioning my gender identity. At the time, it felt like I didn't quite fit into either the male or female category - or maybe even both? It was all a bit confusing and overwhelming, but I knew that I wanted to explore this part of myself.
As I got older, I started to embrace my androgynous side more and more. I began to transition slowly, experimenting with different styles and expressions until I found what felt most comfortable for me. And it's been an incredible journey so far! People often ask me how I'm able to express myself in a way that's not traditionally associated with either men or women, but honestly? It just feels like the most authentic version of me.
But hey, being androgynous isn't all sunshine and rainbows. There have definitely been times when people have misgendered me or assumed certain things about me based on my appearance alone. And sometimes it can be tough to find places where I feel welcome or accepted for who I am.
Luckily though, the LGBTQ+ community has been super supportive throughout my journey. My
