The sun beats down on the pavement as I sprint through the park. My ponytail bounces with each step and my sweaty sports bra clings to my chest. My thighs ache but I push myself harder. The wind blows through my hair and I feel invigorated, like nothing can stop me.
As I run, I think about how much I love this time of day. There's something special about the way the light filters through the trees and illuminates every blade of grass. It's like the whole world has come alive. And I am right in the middle of it all.
