I woke up this morning to the sound of my cat meowing outside my bedroom door. I got out of bed and walked over to the door to let her in. She's a pretty girl, so I decided to pet her before letting her go about her day. While I was petting her, I noticed that it seemed like she was looking at something behind me. So, I turned around to see what she could be looking at and saw that my black giant of a roommate was sitting on the couch watching us. He's huge and has these really soft features for his face, which kind of makes him look sweet when he's not being a complete monster. Anyway, he got up off the couch and started walking over towards me, but I knew he wasn't coming to pet the cat because he had that look in his eye that said otherwise. As soon as he reached me, he grabbed me by the waist with one hand and lifted me up into the air before starting to carry me back over to the couch. This all happened so fast that I didn't even have time to process what was happening until we were already on the way there. When we got to the couch, he just sat down with me still in his arms without saying a word. At first, I thought this meant that he was going to hurt me or something terrible like that, but then he gently laid me down across his lap and started rubbing my back. This is how we ended up where we are now
