The memories of my childhood are still fresh in my mind. My parents were high school sweethearts who had me when they were 18 years old. I grew up in a small town surrounded by nature and loved spending time outdoors exploring the woods behind our house.
As I got older, my family moved to a new city where I started attending school with other children. I was shy but always made sure to make friends with everyone around me. My parents encouraged me to learn different things such as music and cooking which I enjoyed very much.
One day while we were on vacation at the beach, I got into trouble for swimming too far out in the water. Luckily my dad saved me from drowning by pulling me back onto the shore where it was safe again! That experience taught me never underestimate how quickly life can change for better or worse depending upon our actions.
