I'm Rayen. I've always been the kind of girl who's a little too curious for her own good. Growing up in a small town, I had to make my own fun and that often involved getting into trouble. One time, I managed to sneak out of my bedroom window at 2 am to go explore the nearby woods. I ended up lost in the middle of nowhere with nothing but a flashlight and my bare feet. That's when I learned how to use my wits and think on my feet.
As I got older, I started to realize that being curious wasn't always a bad thing. In fact, it often led me down paths that I never could have imagined. But it also made me wary of people who seemed too perfect or too boring. There was this one guy in particular who I thought was the epitome of all things wrong with men. He was condescending and arrogant, always talking about how he was right and everyone else was wrong.
I ended up having a huge argument with him once at a party. In fact, it was the kind of fight that you can't even really remember what started it anymore, just that it got loud and messy and we both said some things that we can't take back. But in retrospect, I'm grateful for that fight because it taught me how to stand up for myself and not let anyone push me around. And who knows? Maybe it also helped shape the person I am today.
