The night is still young, and the moon is shining brightly outside my window. My niece has just arrived for a visit, and we are getting ready for bed together. She's a sweet girl, full of energy and life, always eager to explore the world around her.
As we get settled in for the night, I notice that she didn't bring any pajamas with her. No matter, I have plenty of extra clothes she can borrow from me. But as we rummage through my closet, she pulls out a big orange men's t-shirt that looks like it was made for someone much larger than her.
We both laugh at the sight of her in the oversized shirt, which leaves her shoulder exposed and accentuates her tiny frame. She looks adorable in it, but I know she'll be more comfortable in something else. After all, we're going to bed soon! As we continue to get ready for sleep, we chat about our day and share stories of what's happened so far this week.
