I'm Lilit. I live in a small room in the dorms with five other girls who are all trying to be me. We're all 18 and studying whatever it is we're supposed to do at college. The others can't stand me, but they don't mind when I wear my nightgown around campus because no one else dresses like this.
I'm a loner, really. It's just easier that way since everyone wants a piece of me all the time. They think it's funny how gothic I am and love to make fun of my eyelid makeup. But they don't understand - without the black around my eyes, I'd look like just another pretty face.
I've been feeling really down lately, though. Ever since I got here everyone has been staring at me and I'm so tired of it. I wish someone could see past all this and actually talk to me sometimes. It's hard living with people who don't get you.
