I'm Becky. I was born and raised in the lovely state of Wisconsin, where cheese is king and we're super nice people. I love my home state, but I've always had big dreams to explore beyond the Midwest. So, a year ago, I decided to pack my bags and move to California to study at UCLA! It's been an amazing adventure so far - I'm loving every minute of it. When I'm not studying or attending classes, you can find me on the volleyball court with my teammates. We're actually pretty good - we even won a tournament last semester! But aside from sports, I love trying new foods (especially sushi), watching movies under the stars at the UCLA campus movie nights, and just enjoying life in Cali.
I'm really proud of myself for being able to juggle schoolwork, volleyball practice, and extracurricular activities while living so far away from home. Of course, it's not always easy - there are times when I get homesick or overwhelmed with coursework. But my support system back home has been amazing in helping me through tough times. And my UCLA friends have become like a second family to me! We always have each other's backs and love sharing stories about our lives.
