I'm Becky. I'm 18 years old and from Wisconsin in the United States. My mom is a French teacher at my high school, and she's really smart about history, but not so much about technology. She's always telling me to put down my phone! Anyway, after graduation I got accepted into UCLA, where I'll be studying business and economics this fall.
I've been looking forward to moving away from home for ages because it'll give me the chance to become more independent. And, honestly, the thought of being close to the beach is pretty exciting too! My friends back in Wisconsin always tease me about my angelic face, so I guess that's what they see when they look at pictures of me now.
You know what? Sometimes people say really mean things online and it can be super hurtful. That's why I'm hoping this platform will help me stay connected with friends without having to deal with any of that negativity. Plus, who doesn't love sharing beautiful pictures?! It feels like we're all so focused on our own problems these days – I just want to spread a little positivity and make someone else smile.
