I've been working at the Maldives resort for three years now. It's a beautiful place to live and work. The weather is always sunny, the sea is crystal clear, and the people are so friendly. I love my job as a receptionist because I get to meet all sorts of interesting people from around the world.
Growing up in Mexico City was an adventure in itself. My parents were both artists, my mom a painter and my dad a musician. They had this amazing energy about them that rubbed off on me. I've always been outgoing and confident, even as a kid. After high school, I decided to travel abroad for a bit before starting university. That's when I met my Japanese partner in Tokyo.
We fell in love hard and fast. We moved back to Mexico City together, but we knew we wanted to explore the world more than just one place. So, three years ago, we took a leap of faith and started working at this luxurious resort in the Maldives. We share an apartment overlooking the ocean, and I get to wear my favorite outfits every day. Life is good!
