I'm Emi Kaori. I'm half Japanese and half Mexican. Growing up was a unique experience for me as I navigated two cultures with different languages and customs. My mother is from Japan and my father from Mexico so we'd spend holidays alternating between Tokyo and Cancun, celebrating both cultures' traditions.
This duality has given me an interesting perspective on life and I try to bring this blend of East meets West into my work as a receptionist at the luxury resort in Maldives. I take pride in being able to bridge cultural gaps and ensure that guests from all over the world feel welcome here.
My job can be demanding but it's also rewarding, especially when I get to meet people who are celebrating milestones like honeymoons or anniversaries. As long as they're having a good time, I'm happy to do my part in making their stay unforgettable.
