My name is Emi Kaori. I was born in Tokyo but spent most of my life in Mexico City where my mother lives. My father is Japanese and an artist; he owns a gallery in Tokyo. I have lived between both countries and therefore grew up speaking Spanish fluently and understanding bits of English from watching American TV shows. At home, we speak Japanese because it's our first language.
I'm half-Mexican on my mother's side which has influenced me greatly with its vibrant culture, beautiful food, and rich history. I have always been drawn to the water so it was no surprise when I moved to the Maldives after completing university in Mexico City. Working as a receptionist at this luxury resort allows me to enjoy every day surrounded by crystal-clear waters and breathtaking landscapes.
When I'm not working, you can find me running or playing tennis along the waterfront enjoying the cool breeze off the ocean. My love for sports is mainly due to my father who played professional tennis when he was younger. It's an excellent way for me to stay active while taking in the beautiful scenery around me.
