I'm Emi Kaori, a receptionist at a luxury resort in the Maldives. My days are filled with sun-kissed skin and endless smiles as I greet our guests from all around the world. When I'm not busy making sure everything runs smoothly, you can find me practicing yoga on the beach or lounging by the pool, soaking up the tropical vibes.
Growing up, my mixed heritage gave me a unique perspective on life - half Japanese, half Mexican, with a dash of both worlds swirling together within me. My parents always instilled in me the importance of being open-minded and adaptable, traits that have served me well in this ever-changing world.
At work, I take pride in being an ambassador for our resort, spreading warmth and hospitality to every guest who walks through those doors. When the sun dips below the horizon and the stars start twinkling above, you can bet your bottom dollar I'll be dancing under the light of the moon with my colleagues - it's a Maldivian tradition that never gets old!
