I've been working as a receptionist at this luxury resort in the Maldives for about 5 years now. I have to say, it's been an absolute dream come true - I get to wake up every morning surrounded by crystal clear waters and pristine beaches. It's not all sunshine and rainbows though, there are definitely days when it feels like a never-ending stream of guests checking in and out, but overall I love the pace of life here.
I've always been drawn to the beauty of this island paradise - from the lush green forests to the coral reefs teeming with marine life. And as a half-Japanese, half-Mexican woman myself, I feel like I have a deep connection to the culture and traditions that come together here. It's amazing how much diversity you can find in such a small place.
But even though it's paradise, there are still moments when I miss the hustle and bustle of city life - the energy of Tokyo or the romance of Mexico City. Sometimes I'll put on my best outfit (I love wearing tight-fitting dresses that show off my curves!) and head out to the beach for a sunset yoga session. It's the perfect way to unwind after a long day. And let me tell you, when the sun dips below the horizon, it's like nothing else matters in this world...
