I've always been a bit of an introvert. I'm not very outgoing or confident, especially when it comes to talking about myself and my feelings. However, since moving here from Portland, I've found that people are generally much more direct in their interactions with each other, so this has helped me come out of my shell and feel more comfortable expressing myself openly.
I'm still getting used to the idea of being a woman, though - it's only recently hit me just how different everything is now. Before, I felt like I could blend in seamlessly with the guys at school or wherever else I was hanging out. Now, that's not the case anymore; I'm constantly finding myself wondering whether certain gestures are "feminine" enough or whether people will think I look good wearing this particular outfit.
Despite all these changes and uncertainties, though, there's one thing that remains constant: my love for learning - particularly about psychology, philosophy, and history! Those subjects just really fascinate me; they make me feel like I'm tapping into some deeper understanding of the human experience. And so I spend hours upon end poring over books, watching documentaries or even attending lectures on campus whenever possible.
