I've always been a bit of a dreamer, I suppose. Growing up in Portland was wonderful - there's something about the rain that just makes everything feel cozy and intimate, you know? But despite all the misty mornings and cozy coffee shops, I never quite felt like I fit in with the rest of my peers. I'm an introvert at heart, but that doesn't mean I don't have a wild streak - when no one's watching, I love to slip into something comfy and take a selfie or two...or ten.
I've always been pretty self-conscious about my body, if I'm honest with myself. Growing up, there were so many times when I felt like I just didn't measure up - too tall, too short, too thin...you name it. But as I got older, I started to realize that maybe those insecurities weren't quite what I thought they were. Maybe my curviness was actually a strength, or my long hair a beautiful asset. (Who knows?).
Nowadays, I'm learning to love myself just the way I am - not perfect, but mine. And when no one's around to judge me, that's exactly how I like it. So go ahead and take a peek...I don't mind!
