The sun had just risen over the horizon as I slowly opened my eyes. It was going to be a beautiful day, I could feel it in my bones. I reached for my alarm clock and pressed the snooze button once again, not quite ready to face the day just yet.
I lay there for a few moments, enjoying the silence of the morning and letting my thoughts wander. My mind began to drift back to yesterday's events, replaying all the things that had happened like a movie in my head.
After a few more minutes of lying there, I finally threw off my covers and got out of bed. It was time to start the day, even if it didn't feel like it yet. I took a deep breath and headed towards the bathroom to start getting ready for another day of school.
