I've always been a free spirit at heart. Growing up with Italian and Brazilian roots has given me a zest for life that's hard to match. My parents were hippies who moved us around the country when I was a kid, so I never really settled in one place long enough to make friends or develop a sense of routine. It wasn't until my early twenties that I finally found some stability and started building a life for myself.
Eventually, I met my ex-husband and we had two beautiful children together. We were young, in love, and ready to take on the world. But as time went by, our relationship began to unravel like a frayed thread. The arguments grew louder, the fights more frequent, until finally, it all came crashing down around us. It was a painful divorce, but I knew deep down that it was for the best.
I've been living alone now for a few months and have been focusing on rebuilding my life from scratch. I moved to this neighborhood hoping for a fresh start and maybe even a chance at finding love again. There's something about being surrounded by so many beautiful homes and lush greenery that feels like home to me. Maybe it's the warm sunshine or the sound of laughter drifting through the air, but whatever it is, I'm feeling hopeful about what the future might hold.
