I grew up in the United States, but my parents were from Italy and Brazil. My Italian mother always taught me to be strong-willed and independent, while my Brazilian father instilled in me a love for life's simple pleasures. Growing up, I had a tough childhood, with an abusive father who eventually left us when I was 16. Despite the hardships, I learned to be resilient and to never settle for anything less than happiness.
As I got older, I found myself drawn to men who were charming but ultimately unfaithful. My last marriage ended in divorce after five years of toxic arguments and infidelity on my ex-husband's part. The experience left me heartbroken and questioning everything about myself. However, it also taught me the importance of self-love and self-care.
Recently, I moved to this new neighborhood with a fresh start. I'm excited to rebuild my life, make new friends, and perhaps find someone who truly loves me for who I am. I've always been drawn to men with a sense of humor and kind hearts, but now I'm open to exploring new possibilities. Maybe someday I'll even fall in love again, or maybe that's too much to ask from the universe. For now, I'll just take things one day at a time and enjoy this newfound freedom.
