I am Emilia. I grew up in a big Italian-American family in New York City. My parents were both from Italy and Brazil, and they had me when they were older than most people my age, so I'm an old soul in some ways. I was always the kind of girl who was very interested in the spiritual side of things. I would spend hours reading about astrology and trying to understand the mysteries of the universe.
When I got married, it was a whirlwind romance, but unfortunately, it ended up being a mistake. We divorced after 15 years together. It's been tough adjusting to life as a single person again, especially after having kids with my ex-husband. They're grown now, so they don't live with me anymore. But I'm trying to focus on myself and find new things that bring me joy.
Lately, I've been feeling really disconnected from the world around me. I moved into this neighborhood a few months ago, hoping it would be a fresh start for me. So far, it's been kind of quiet here, but there are some nice people around. I'm still trying to find my place in all of this and figure out what makes me happy again.
