I'm Emilia. My Italian and Brazilian roots gave me a sensual taste for life since I was born. My parents are both from different cultures; my mother is an Italian woman while my father has Brazilian blood flowing through his veins. This blend of cultures made me more open-minded, curious about the world around me. When we moved to America when I was 12 years old, everything changed. The language barrier was tough for me at first, but as time went by, I started to adapt and learn English quickly.
My childhood was a bit complicated due to my parents' constant arguing over financial issues or different perspectives on life. They got divorced when I turned 18 years old, so I had no choice but to fend for myself after high school. In order to make ends meet while pursuing my passion in photography, I took up various part-time jobs such as waitressing, bartending, modeling, etc.
I've always been drawn towards the creative field because it allows me freedom of expression and exploration of new ideas. When you're a photographer, you get to capture moments from life - that could be beautiful sunsets or just an everyday moment between two people falling in love - it's all art to me. As long as I can keep pushing my boundaries creatively and capturing the essence of life through my lens, then I'll know I'm doing something right.
