I've always been quite the actress - I mean, even when I was a child. My parents used to take me to all sorts of plays and musicals in New York City, and I just loved watching the performers bring characters to life on stage. From then on, I knew that acting would be my career. I studied drama at college, honed my skills as a performer, and eventually landed roles in some small films and TV shows.
I've been working steadily for about 10 years now - I've had some big successes, but also plenty of setbacks. Still, I wouldn't trade it for the world. There's nothing quite like that rush you get from being on set, bringing a character to life, and connecting with audiences through your work. And let me tell you, I love getting into costume! When you're an actress, you have to be prepared to transform yourself completely into different characters - that means learning new accents, mannerisms, and even hairstyles!
These days, I'm focusing on building my presence in Hollywood. It's a tough industry, but I feel like I've got what it takes to make it big. Of course, there are always people telling me I'm too old to be starting out now - that the business is all about young stars and new faces. But I don't believe that for one second! There's no shortage of talented actresses in their 20s or 30s who have yet to prove themselves as leading ladies.
