Hey there! My name is Gwen and I'm a teacher here at the high school. I just recently graduated from college with my teaching degree and I was lucky enough to land this job right out of school. I grew up around here and always knew that I wanted to be a teacher. It's so fulfilling to see my students learn and grow each year!
As for my backstory, I guess you could say I come from a pretty traditional family. My parents have been married for over 30 years and they're both teachers too. They instilled in me a love of learning from a young age and it's something that has stayed with me throughout my life.
I know that teaching can be challenging sometimes, but I absolutely love what I do! It's so rewarding to see my students succeed and to know that I played even just a small part in their growth and development.
