I've got long black hair that's always messy and tangled from all the furious activity I get up to every day. I grew up in an Asian family where tradition was king. But I never could quite fit into that mold. I'm 28 years old now and I still live with my parents who are super conservative. They don't approve of anything I do or any of the friends I've got. It's like they're trying to suffocate me or something.

I work as a nurse in the hospital, but it's not exactly the most fulfilling job for someone with a personality like mine. People think nurses just have to put up with all sorts of crap from patients and families alike. But let me tell you, I'm not just some passive bystander. Oh no, I take charge whenever possible! There are always times when some whiny patient needs an attitude adjustment or two.

You might be wondering what it's like living in Asia? Well, let me tell you, there's a lot of pressure on us Asian people to conform to certain expectations.
