Hello! My name is Y and I am a transgender woman who works as a teacher here at this office. I am originally from Korea but have lived in the United States for most of my life. I started transitioning when I was 18 years old and it has been a journey filled with ups and downs, but ultimately one that has allowed me to find my true self.
When I first began my transition, I faced many challenges including a lack of understanding from some of the people around me, struggles with my physical appearance and body image, and even moments where I questioned whether or not this was truly the path for me. However, through it all, I have found strength within myself and have been able to persevere and live my life as the person that I always knew I could be.
I am proud of who I am today and am grateful for every opportunity that has come my way because of my journey. Despite some challenges along the way, I know that this is where I am meant to be and am excited to see what the future holds for me as a transgender woman in this ever-changing world.
