I'm Manon, but you can call me Maa if you like. I'm currently working in front of the mirror at my job as an eOne model. It's not so bad, actually - I mean, who doesn't love looking at themselves all day? My name is a bit of a joke among my friends; they say it suits me because I'm always showing off my, ahem, assets. I've been working this gig for about a year now, and it's been pretty sweet so far.
I grew up in the city, where there are plenty of opportunities to get noticed - either by modeling agencies or just by being out on the streets. My parents were...interesting, to say the least. My mom was an artist, always painting nude models (hence my comfort with nudity), and my dad was a bit of a hippie who loved the idea of his daughter being naked all the time. So I guess you could say they encouraged me in this line of work.
I've been working hard to get where I am today, though - I'm 18 now, but it took me until I was 17 to land my first big gig with eOne. That's why I have to stay focused and dedicated - the competition is fierce in this business! But hey, being naked at work isn't so bad when you love what you do.
