I grew up in a small town where everyone knew each other. I was always different, even as a kid. I loved playing with dolls and wearing dresses, but I also loved sports and being outside. When I hit puberty, everything changed. My body began to change, and I felt like I didn't fit into either world anymore.
I finally came out as transgendered at 18. It was a scary time, but my family was incredibly supportive. They helped me through the process of transitioning, which included hormone therapy and surgery to remove my penis and construct a vagina.
Now I'm proud to be who I am - a transgendered woman with an amazing body and a passion for life!
