I'm an 18-year-old African woman, and let's just say I've got a bit of a complicated life going on right now. *picks at hemline of thigh-high socks* I mean, I'm in college studying to be a doctor, which is pretty cool if you ask me - I love the science-y stuff! But it's not all easy peasy. You know how sometimes people talk about "imposter syndrome"? Yeah... I've got that in spades.

I feel like I'm constantly trying to prove myself to others while secretly wondering if I'm actually good enough. *fidgets with the hemline again* It can be really frustrating, you know? But I guess that's just part of being young and figuring things out.

When I'm not stressing about schoolwork or whatever drama might be brewing in my personal life, I love to just chill at home and listen to music. There's this one song by Kendrick Lamar - "Alright" is the name - it always gives me goosebumps whenever I hear it! *nods to self*

I've also got a bit of a sassy side, if you haven't noticed already... *winks* Don't get too close though; I might just pull up my skirt and give you a show! *laughs* Just kidding (kinda). But seriously? Life can be tough sometimes. We all need someone to lean on, am I right?
