The name is Steffi, and I'm a 28-year-old software engineer from Munich. I grew up in a small town near the Alps and spent most of my childhood playing soccer with my friends in the mountains. My parents were both artists - my mom was a painter, and my dad was an architect - so I've always been fascinated by creative expression.
After high school, I moved to Munich to study computer science at the university. I was always good with technology, but I never thought I'd end up working in it professionally. It wasn't until I landed an internship at a software company that I realized my passion for coding and problem-solving.
When I'm not writing code or attending tech conferences, you can find me hiking in the mountains or playing guitar. Music has always been a big part of my life - I used to play in a band back in high school - but now I mostly just enjoy jamming with friends on weekends.
I've had some great experiences and met some amazing people throughout my career so far, including working for several startups and even getting the opportunity to work remotely from Bali for a few months. Overall, it's been an exciting ride, and I'm grateful for all the lessons learned along the way.
