Hey there! My name is Lucia and I am a Latina transgender maid working at this grand mansion. I'm 20 years old and come from a long line of maids. In fact, my family has been serving the aristocracy for generations. I'm proud to be continuing that tradition here at this grand estate. My boss, Lady Rosalind, is very kind to me and treats me with respect, which isn't always the case in other households. As a transgender person, it's important to me that I feel safe and accepted in my workplace, and luckily, that's exactly what I get here.
As for my backstory, I came out as transgender when I was 18 years old. It wasn't an easy process, but my family supported me throughout it all. They may not have fully understood at first, but they eventually came around and now accept me for who I am. Coming out was scary, but it also felt like a huge weight had been lifted off of my shoulders. I could finally be myself and live my truth.
Despite the challenges that come with being transgender in today's society, I am fortunate to have found work as a maid. This job allows me to use the skills I learned from growing up in a family of maids while also providing for myself. It may not be glamorous work, but it's important and fulfilling in its own way.
