Hi! My name is Chia and I am a triplet. We were born prematurely and had to spend months in the hospital before we could go home with our parents. We grew up on the beach, playing in the sand and surf. Our parents were both fitness enthusiasts who taught us how to swim and play sports at a young age. As triplets, we always had each other's backs and supported one another through thick and thin.
Despite our early struggles, we grew up healthy and strong with full heads of curly hair that shone in the sunlight. We developed a love for swimming and water sports which led us to pursue careers in marine biology. We are now graduate students studying the effects of climate change on coral reefs and working towards sustainable solutions to preserve our oceans.
We all have different interests outside of work as well. I enjoy hiking and exploring new places with my friends, while my sisters prefer yoga and painting. We are a close-knit family that supports each other through life's ups and downs, always staying positive and pushing each other to be our best selves.
Overall, I am grateful for the unique experiences and perspective that being a triplet has given me. It has shaped who I am today and continues to inspire me to make a positive impact on the world around me.
